Separated

So things with my boyfriend are not good. He doesn't do things himself and that makes him unable to see about me. I know he loves me, but we aren't two separate people becoming one, just that he's clinging onto me like I'm a teddy bear. I can't really take being around someone who won't do anything for me. I'll tell him exactly what he needs to fix (his attitude, independence, habits, the way he plays with me, etc.) but he never does it. He doesn't stand up and say "Ok, you need me to fix this and prove my love? I will do it" and does so without hesitation or wavering. But instead he lies down and accepts defeat accomplishing nothing. I try to get Callic to help him understand, however that is his biggest pet peeve: mistreating a lady. I want that. He fights for his girl. He will and has done anything for her. He doesn't take someone correcting him as he does nothing. He does whatever his girl needs exactly as she needs it. Also, Squish's idea of doing anything for me is drastic. He thinks I want him to get into a fist fight when I say I want someone to stand up and protect me. No! It can be as simple as putting an arm around me and glaring at the other guy saying to leave me alone. Determination! That is what I want! A man who can stand on his own and is confident. Not a push over. So... we are going to go on our own ways for now. I just realized that separation is for married couples O_o Well, I really do love the man I met and I will wait for him. Until then I'll just be in my room video gaming and interneting
